Immerse yourself in the fascinating marine world with our Gyotaku Workshop, an activity that combines science, art, and sustainability. Through this traditional Japanese printing technique using real fish, we’ll discover what fish look like inside and out, what parts they have, and what functions they perform.
This activity can be done by both children and adults. It’s an ideal experience to discover, learn, and enjoy the sea together in a different and creative way.
Participants will learn to observe, identify, and respect marine biodiversity, while overcoming their fear of touching and handling fish carefully. The activity takes place in a friendly and educational environment, where curiosity and creativity are the main focus.
After learning about their characteristics, we’ll get down to business: we’ll use special paints to print the fish on paper, creating unique and vibrant designs. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind work of art and a fun way to connect with nature.
