Aware of the importance of maintaining a sustainable tourism development, and assuming the main principles and objectives specifically adopted at the 2015World Summit on Sustainable Development, COP 21 and the World Charter for Sustainable Tourism + 20, Cap a Mar is committed to carry out a sustainable management of its activities, preventing, eliminating or reducing the impact of our facilities and internal and externalactivities, as well as optimizing the sustainability of our headquarter while improving our behavior in favor of the environment.
In the same way, our entity has adopted the here described Responsible Tourism Policy, through which it undertakes to comply with the requirements established in the BIOSPHERE Committed Entity award, which includes, among other things, the legal requirements that regulate the effects generated by tourism activity.
We commit ourselves to motivate and train our staff and collaborators with trainings and awareness on the principles of Responsible Tourism. We will promote a list of good environmental practices and participate in external activities, and to inform on dissemination and outreach activities, about the advances and environmental friendly actions of the company.
One of our main objectives is to improve sustainable management, assuming the commitments of continuous improvement in all areas of sustainability: social, economic and environmental, as well as customer satisfaction.
To this end, social projects will be expanded in the development of our activity, which mainly focuses on the conservation and preservation of the marine environment. As well as in raising awareness of current marine problems.
This Responsible Tourism Policy will be updated whenever the circumstances require it, adopting and publishing in both cases new objectives of sustainability.
